Stephen M. Jokel: 2327 Collingwood Boulevard, Toledo, Ohio

Description

Architectural drawings for alterations to the Temple created by Stephen M. Jokel, an architect of Toledo, Ohio in 1935. The drawings are pencil on beige colored paper, and there is no listed commission number for this project. The plans include Acklin Street and rear elevations, a longitudinal cross section, and floorplans for the first and second floor. As of 2019 the original building and addition are still standing, though the planned expansion outlined in these drawings was never actually implemented. In 2019 the synagogue is occupied by Bibleway World Outreach Ministries, and the addition has a sign on the exterior that says "Collingwood School."
