Description

Architectural drawings of additions and renovations to the Locke Branch of the Toledo Public Library. These drawings, created by the Stophlet and Stophlet architecture and engineering firm of Toledo, Ohio, include one color presentation drawing, while the rest are white line on blue paper. The presentation drawing depict a proposed version of the building, though the finished structure varies from this drawing in some details. The commission number for this project is 1203. The drawings include a breakdown of bids for the project, floorplans, exterior elevations, details of interior and exterior elements, and landscape architecture drawings. One landscape architecture drawing was created by A. W. Dorgan, who worked out of Toledo, Ohio. As of 2019, this building no longer houses the Locke Branch of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, and sits vacant. The Locke Branch moved into a new building at 703 Miami Street in 2007.
