Title

Britsch and Munger: 812 City Park Avenue, Toledo, Ohio

Description

An architectural drawing for a proposed design of Braden Methodist Church created by the Britsch and Munger architectural firm of Toledo, Ohio. The drawing is pencil on tissue paper, the commission numbers for the project are 681 and 711, and the drawing was created in 1952. The drawing depicts the Belmont Avenue and City Park Avenue exterior elevations, as well as a cross sectional and longitudinal view of the interior. The identified address for the church has been drawn from a 1935 city directory, placing it at the corner of City Park Avenue and Belmont Avenue, however in 1952 the church moved to the corner of Woodruff Avenue and Lawrence Avenue. It is not believed this proposed design was ever used at either location.
