Description

Architectural drawings for a flower shop commissioned by Mrs. Mabel Barrow Avery and Son and created by the Jokel, Coy and Thal architectural firm of Toledo, Ohio. The drawings are pencil on tracing paper, the commission number for the project is 1022, and they were created in 1939. Only a subsection of the drawings are included here digitally, including exterior elevations for all four sides of the building and a longitudinal cross section, as well as various exterior details. Also included in the physical collection, but not scanned, are plans for the plot, basement, drainage, first floor and roof. This building featured a Vitrolite glass exterior. As of 2020 this building has been demolished.
