Jokel, Coy and Thal: 3365 Collingwood Boulevard, Toledo, Ohio
Description
An account of the resource
Architectural drawings for alterations to a duplex comissioned by Dr. and Mrs. John Gersten. These drawings are pencil on tracing paper and were created by the Jokel, Coy and Thal architectural firm of Toledo, Ohio. The drawings lay out a plan to convert a duplex into a doctor's office on the first floor with living quarters for the family on the second floor, and include basement, first, and second floor floorplans, a site plan of the property, front and left-side elevations, as well as details of fireplaces, stairs, cabinetry and other elements. The doctor's office conversion included enough space for two patient treatment rooms, a dentist's consultation room and workroom, a doctor's consultation room, a lab, and a reception area. As of 2019 this building has been demolished due to changes in how Collingwood Boulevard connects to Cherry Street.
