An account of the resource
A black and white pencil drawing done by Thomas E. King of the interior design of the ballroom for the Commodore Perry Hotel in downtown Toledo, Ohio. Designed in February of 1928 by architectural firm Mills, Rhines, Bellman and Nordhoff, the ballroom was mostly constructed as seen in the drawing. Opened in 1926, the hotel closed it's doors in 1980. In 2000 the hotel was renovated into an apartment building. Notation on back of drawing: Comm # 2781; archivist notation on front of drawing: Comm. # 2781.
Architectural drawings for the Commodore Perry Hotel commissioned by the Commodore Perry Company and created by the Mills, Rhines, Bellman, and Nordhoff architectural firm of Toledo, Ohio. The drawings are white line on blue paper, were created in 1925, and the commission number for this project 2781. The drawings include exterior elevations and details of windows, doors, and cornices. As of 2019 this building has not been demolished and has been converted into apartments.

These images are a set of architectural drawings done by George S. Mills, an architect working in Toledo, Commision Number 1000. This building was originally built in 1897 as the Bableon Club, though these drawings list the name as the Superior Building, and the drawings include plans for floors occupied by the Toledo Express and Security Savings Bank Trust Company. The drawings include building floorplans, cross-sectional views, exterior details, and drawings of details of the woodwork and decorative elements.
Photographs of the exterior of the Superior Building taken on December 6, 2018. The architect George S. Mills of Toledo, Ohio designed the building and it was originally constructed in 1897.
